  • Well…

WordPress can’t guarantee things like bounce rate.

I took a look at your site thinking ‘healthy food’ or maybe healthy ‘fod’ or possible decent ‘fodder’ for my cows and horses. Good domains help suggest subject matter sublimely.

I received a huge banner ad for ‘GoldFish crackers, Lance snack crackers, and Pretzels’ a bit of text and the top of a picture with a 30 line GDPR disclaimer.

So your bounce rate went up a bit right there. I was thirsty after viewing the salty snacks so I had a Power Ade and a Little Debbie Snack… See how that works?

I then opened a new window and went back.

That time I received a slightly smaller ad for V8 Juice…

The menu and that huge GDPR disclaimer.

I think I’d shrink that GDPR thing way down for people like me that leave those unchecked.

Lose the Banner ADS at the top in favor of some inline promotional links after you’ve ‘hooked’ the reader’s interests with content. I never saw any content…

I’d also look at my site via a phone just to see the presentation differences. Keep in mind there’s a difference between phone users and laptop desktop browser visitors but what works on the phone audience needs to be considered and duplicated somewhat for the browser users.

@jnashhawkins Yes what you say makes total sense generally speaking for bounce rate.

however what you’ll see is i had a consistent bounce rate and something changed on FEbruary 13th (not sure what). and that’s what i’m trying to figure out
