If you have them excluded (which they are by default) they are not recorded, however if you have enable the “Record exclusions” enabled you can see the total number of hits dropped due to robots.

But how can i see what type of bots/spider that is visiting my website when i have it activate? And how many time every bot have visiting the site?

Once we identify a bot to be excluded we don’t track that kind of information.

If you wanted to see details about bot you would have to remove them from the exclusions and let them be recorded as visitors.

Is there a particular reason you want to track them?

Always nice to see. What kind off bots that is visiting the blog.

Simply go to Statistics->Settings->Exclusions and remove all of the entries from “Robot list”. Also, if you have enabled the browscap functionality, disable it as well. You may want to also enable “Store entire user agent string” on the general settings tab as many bots report a generic Mozilla browser type.

I wouldn’t recommend doing this as it will generate a lot of entries in the database and skew your ability to see actual user hits to your site.
