I’m am pretty sure that bots are attacking my Woocommerce site and leaving hundreds of items abandoned in the cart. However, upon checking my “Live traffic”, I am not seeing any gray dots, none! Does WF have anything else in place to detect these bots? Thank you.

  • Hi @trobaz,

Can you check Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic Options to see if the following options are set:

    – Traffic logging mode -> ALL TRAFFIC
    – Don’t log signed-in users with publishing access -> UNCHECKED

So I made the change and sure enough, I found a bot accessing one of my products, however, when I try to block, I get the following message:

“The IP address 77.75.77.32 is in a range of IP addresses that WF does not block. The IP range may be internal or belong to a service safe to allow access for.”

    The country was Czechia.

FYI This IP address belongs to the Czech search engine Seznam.cz.

So you can block this bot in robots.txt with this code

    User-agent: SeznamBot
    Disallow: /

Check to be sure you don’t have this service whitelisted under Wordfence–>All Options–>Advanced Firewall Options–>Seznam Search Engine. I’ve found this is now checked by default on all my sites.
