Both Gallery Slider and Images Show on Page/Post

I have attached two images to my page/post as a test. I then added the short code to the content section. When I “Preview” the page/post, both the Gallery Slider and the two images appear on the page/post. It does not matter if I place the code above or below the attached images, everything (slider + 2 images) shows up. I want “Only” the Gallery Slider to show.
Another question, is the code supposed to go above or below the already attached images??? None of your instruction on your site are very clear about the actual setup on the pages/posts. You seem mostly interested in describing the “Installation” of the plug-in. A step by step screenshot tutorial would be nice!!!
