    Hello
I have done upgrades before and they all went very smoothly. Not this time though, sadly.

I tried the upgrade and followed all the steps. I then tried to run the upgrade.php script but it wouldn’t even appear in my browser. All that appeared was this message:

    (none) 24.7.62.51 /news/wp-admin/upgrade.php

The numbers are my IP and /news/ is the directory for my blog:

    https://james-baker.com/news/

I wasn’t able to navigate to ANY files within my blog using the web-browser, even though I could see that they were all there by looking at my FTP client.

I then reinstalled my old BACK-UP files and the BLOG briefly re-appeared. I used the admin panels, turned on all my plugins and the OLD version of the blog was working fine.

I recently went back there and now that TOO is blank.

I am at a loss as to what has happened here… any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
