a BOT is accessing my site in bulk 1 time every 1 incessant minute, the IP originates from my hosting service provider Net Data Center in Canada, I don’t know if this is just a coincidence of my automatic CronJob service or if it is something to suspect since Cron should access my main domain and not Cron’s own link. I was in doubt so I decided to get support from the Wordfence team that I trust a lot.

Hi @warsweb, thanks for your query.

As it’s a ‘bot’ but not red for being blocked, I provisionally think that there is a legitimate reason for your host accessing the wp-cron page. However, I’d like to look into it further before explaining what’s happening.

Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

Note: For the fastest response time, please make sure and add any information or questions directly to this topic and not the email address above unless asked.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
