I put a border around the graph that i am working on but one side of the graph is 9 rows long and the other is 13 rows long(The whole graph is 4 x 13)I was wondering what the CSS code is to get rid of the 4 empty outlined boxes I have in the first column with 9 rows and keep the outline in the 13 rows on the third column.

    Thank you for the help,
    Andrew Kendell

I was also wondering how to make a graph outlined around the outside of the table and separately outline another table within the same table dimensions. So the whole table is 4 x 13 and one table is 2 x 9 and the other one is 2 x 13. I was wondering if I could also put a space between the two either with a new column or changing the spacing of the column.

    Thank you,

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

Yeah no problem here is the link:

    https://www.ibisci.com/product/ib47153-2-x-96-well-plasmid-kit-vacuum

It’s under the Specifications section, and I want to fix the spacing in the middle and get rid of the boxes at the bottom of the first table.

Also I was wondering if there was a way to box the whole table and not each square individually.

    Thank-you

    Hi,

thanks for the link! To be honest, the best solution here would be to turn this into two separate tables. Not only would this make your spacing problem much easier, but also the border.
You would then just have to apply the border to the .tablepress-id-123 element instead of the cells.

Ok is there any way to get rid of the extra four boxes in the first table?

This would be instead of making two separate tables.

    Hi,

no, that’s not possible. A table always has to be rectangular. (This is actually the main reason why I recommend two tables, here. You could of course change the background color of those cells (see the CSS in the TablePress FAQ), but it’s not really nice.)
