Hi, Elementor show “fake” border on first video on page. The problem is only in desktop Safari. Other browsers and devices are ok.

When I drop the “bad” video and move like 2st or more on page, the border is gone.

Do you have any idea how to fix it?
    Thank you

    Hi there,

It sounds like you’re encountering a specific rendering issue with Elementor and desktop Safari, where a “fake” border appears around the first video on the page. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to address this issue:

    1. Inspect Element: Use the browser’s developer tools to inspect the HTML and CSS of the video element. Look for any specific styles being applied that might be causing the border to appear. Make sure there are no unintended borders or outlines being added to the video element.
    2. CSS Reset: go to WP admin > Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS.
    3. Custom CSS: If you identify the specific CSS causing the issue, you can use custom CSS to override or reset those styles for the affected element. For example, you could try adding border: none !important; to the video element to explicitly remove any borders.
    4. Reset Safari Preferences: Sometimes, Safari may have certain preferences or settings that could affect how elements are rendered. Try resetting Safari preferences to their default settings. You can do this by going to Safari > Preferences > Advanced > Show Develop menu in menu bar. Then, from the Develop menu, choose Empty Caches and Reset Safari.
    5. Disable Hardware Acceleration: Sometimes, hardware acceleration in the browser can cause rendering issues. Try disabling hardware acceleration in Safari by going to Safari > Preferences > Advanced and unchecking the box next to “Use hardware acceleration when available”.
    6. Test in Private Browsing Mode: Open your webpage in Safari’s Private Browsing mode to see if the issue persists. This can help identify if any browser extensions or cache are causing the problem.
    7. Check for JavaScript Errors: Use Safari’s developer tools to check for any JavaScript errors that might be occurring on the page. Errors in JavaScript code could potentially interfere with the rendering of elements.
    8. Test on Different Safari Devices: If possible, test your webpage on different Mac devices running Safari to see if the issue is consistent across different hardware configurations.

    Kind regars,
