    Thanks for the update….

There is one more that i found that is the videos do not work properly in mozilla firefox…they work properly in chrome and IE but mozilla it doesnt work you can check the same link.

Also is there are way that i can have a single video where once we click on the image it zooms in and the video starts playing something similar to what happens in the gallery mode…

Also do let me know by when will the next version be available…thanks for the awesome support and plugin.

If the video doesn’t work in Firefox it’s because you don’t have the Flash plugin installed on your computer. Firefox only supports free codecs and H.264 is not free. If you want to support users who don’t have Flash installed you would have to create an alternate format. Firefox can play WEBM or OGV.

To make a single video popup, make a gallery with only one video. Something like [KGVID gallery="true" gallery_include="42"][/KGVID] where 42 is the ID of the video you want to use.

They all work in Firefox on my computers.

Man it doesnt work on my computer only one video works on firefox rest only open up but when i click on play nothing happens…what can be the issue.

If you’re seeing a play button once the window opens, just wait a second. It’s an unfortunate artifact in the Flash player that it shows the thumbnail and the play button before it loads the video.

    Hey..

I can see the play button and i waited for couple of seconds but nothing happens….and i guess its not playing in flash player…

    Hey Kyle….

It seems that the video starts playing in mozilla firefox after approximately 10-15 seconds….while in other browsers it starts quickly….can you suggest a way out or a solution for this.

I can’t duplicate your problem on any of my computers, but you can encode either a WEBM or OGV version of your videos and Firefox will be able to play them without using Flash.

I finally found the time to finish up the new version. If you’re still using my plugin, version 4.0.1 might solve your problem. Let me know if it doesn’t.

    Hey,

Thanks for the update, the border issue has been solved…but the issue for videos taking too much time to load or not loading in Firefox mozilla and Opera browser still exists.

It works fine in IE and Chrome.

Ok, good news about the border.

I was finally able to get to the bottom of your Firefox problem. Flash players have a hard time with MP4 videos that don’t have “fast start” enabled. So they don’t start playing until the whole video has downloaded. More specifically, the MOOV atom has to be at the head of the file rather than the end. It looks like you used FFMPEG to make your videos. FFMPEG doesn’t have the option to make videos with the proper MOOV atom configuration. In order to fix the problem you’ll need to run a utility like qt-faststart or MP4box which will fix the headers.
