• Hello everyone, I am new to the community. I am kind of a noob, almost no wordpress experience. I am pretty decent with blogger, and flash. I can read some HTML, but writing PHP and CSS is still somewhat new to me.

    My Q:
I want to put a border around each individual widget. like this site: https://theburgerblog.ch/. I dont know if that is Kubrick, I think it is probably custom. Anyhow, I am using Kubrick. I also want some margin and padding like the site I showed.

I can get a border around my side bar, I can get a border around each widget, but not with padding and margins. I am thinking I need to make a widget wrapper class, but I am not sure how to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi,

You can apply the border to your widget from style.css file of your theme and modify the style for sidebar, widget and categories etc..,

If you want it for the individual widget then prepare a new style code and apply to that widget from sidebar.php file of your theme

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

Could you go into more detail?
