• Here is a copy of my last post 3 weeks, 6 days ago on #post-10952296 which was marked RESOLVED, although not resolved for me. Problems remain the same.

For images without captions the padding displays correctly, except that some images including with those with no caption have a transparent box under them, about 15px high running the width of the image and padding and with a faint grey border around it.

On images with captions the padding does not extend down as background for the caption, the upper part of the (black) caption text is covered by the overlay and is grey. The lower part of the caption text outside of the transparent box mentioned above is displayed normally (black).

On another site with different settings, the overlay covering the caption text does not occur (all text is black), but the caption text is moved up to the edge of, or onto the image and the 10px padding. Borders do not show at the bottom of some images and may be a few pixels short of reaching the bottom on the side

  • Hello @malae,

Please rest assured we will help.
Can you please send me a few screenshots with these issues so I can understand better?
Also your website’s url would help (the page with the gallery), thank you.

    Best wishes,

    Hi Mihaela,

Thank you for your response. I attach screenshots of an image produced by ver. 3.0.14 and the same image produced by ver. 3.1.6. per the following links:
    https://imagebin.ca/v/4PTzKPnECTTp

The plugin settings as provided previously:

This site content has many images and has been essentially static for the past 5 years. I have had no issues with this plugin until the recent update to version 3.1.x and have rolled backed to ver. 3.0.14.

WordPress ver. 4.9.8, Theme: TwentyEleven ver. 2.8.

    Thank you so much, @malae!
I have created a ticket for our development team so they can address it in our next update.
You can follow it here: https://github.com/ColorlibHQ/fancybox-for-wordpress/issues/45
You can also add your own comments if you want.

    Best wishes,

    Hi Mihaela,

I see that you again marked this issue as RESOLVED and it is not!

FYI, I did try the new version 3.1.7 and it does not work at all. First the updating simultaneously deactivates the plugin. After activation, it is not working and clicking on an image has the same result as if the plugin is not installed. The image will increase to fill the screen height and cannot be closed by clicking.

    Hello @malae,

    Thank you for your feedback!
The latest update 3.1.7 did not solve the issue with the padding as it was not yet addressed.

Regarding the update itself not working, do you have any caching plugins on your website? Could you please clear it?

    Thank you,
    Mihaela
