Hi, I’m building a site using a bootstrap theme (understrap) – the bootstrap.min.css from this plugin overrides the theme, for example .bg-primary{background-color:#0d6efd !important}. I can get around this by clearing that file (so all bootstrap stuff comes from the theme) but that’s obviously not ideal – something i’m missing?

    thanks!

    Hi @jeffcapeshop

Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry to hear you are having an issue.

If you are using a Bootstrap theme, I’m guessing that includes it’s own version of Bootstrap so you don’t actually need to include the version that All Bootstrap Blocks provides.

You can quickly turn this off in the plugin settings by going to the WP Dashboard then on the menu down the left click Bootstrap. The first option you see on that page is a checkbox labelled “Include Bootstrap CSS”, untick that and click “Save Settings” and that should remove the additional Bootstrap file so it will no longer override your theme CSS. See a screenshot here https://areoi.io/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/include-css.png

When using your own version of Bootstrap or the version included in your theme, please be aware that you will not be able to manage your Bootstrap settings via the plugin settings area, however you will still be able to use all of the blocks without issue.

I hope this resolves your problem, but if not please don’t hesitate to get back in touch.

    Thanks

    Miles

Perfect, that solves my issue. I actually didn’t notice that entire bootstrap menu, good to know that customisation is available for other scenarios too.

    Thanks!
