    Hello,

The file “bootstrap.css.map” is missing in the Tabs Responsive extension, which creates an error in the error console of Google Chrome:

DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for https://www.MYDOMAIN.fr/wp-content/plugins/tabs-responsive/assets/css/bootstrap.css.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net: : ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE

I just wrote a message similar to Elementor support because there is also a missing “.map” file that produces an error with Chrome.

My website is closed, but you can check this error on all websites that use Tabs Responsive! For proof, you can check on wpshopmart: Demo “Tabs responsive” on WPSHOPMART.

    1. Open this page with Google Chrome
    2. Right-click on the page, select “inspect”
    3. Go to the “console” tab
    4. As you can see, “.map” files are missing everywhere!

NB1: I have not checked on other browsers than Chrome
NB2: I use the free version, but when we look at your page, obviously the error is also on the pro version.

To give you a research lead, on Elementor, users had found a way to work around the problem by adding the “.map” file by FTP. Unfortunately this file disappears with each update of the extension.
    – The discussion regarding the problem on Elementor can be found here (Github).
    – The page where Elementor’s “.map” file is located is here (Github).
(I’m writing this to you so that you can see what the contents of the “.map” file look like, and you can better understand the type of problem).

    The file “bootstrap.css.map” is supposed to be found here: / wp-content / plugins / tabs-responsive / assets / css / bootstrap.css.map

    WordPress: 5.4.1
    Tabs Responsive: 2.0.3

Pending your response, and hoping for a fix in the next patch update, thank you for your attention,
    cordially.

The problem is already solved on Elementor. Here’s how they did it:

    – Fix: Removed source map comment so so browsers don’t look for source map in Swiper library.
    – Editing the file swiper.min.js in folder wp-content / plugins / elementor / assets / lib / swiper and remove this:
    // # sourceMappingURL = swiper.min.js.map

I have not tried it but I imagine that it is enough to apply this method to Tabs Responsive for boostrap and the others. But as I do not know much in the code, I do not know if these “.map” files have or will have an importance for responsive Tabs.

    hi @stevema93 ,

glad that your issue has been resolved..we will consider this issue..as we haven’t added .map file of bootstrap..

    thanks.

The problem was resolved on elementor but not on Tabs Responsive, and the update that appeared today did not resolve the problem. It’s only been a little over a month since I mentioned this problem …

@preetam27 I have the same issue – could you take a look pls – https://mintelstorewp.callender-test.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/tabs-responsive/assets/css/bootstrap.css.map

We are using a custom theme.

    thank you,

    JC
