Booster Plus for WooCommerce: Update problems

    Hello, we use WooCommerce with Booster and Booster Plus on our WordPress website:
    WordPress: 6.6.2
    WooCommerce: 9.3.3
    Booster: 7.2.3
    Booster Plus: 5.4.8 (!)

    I’m now trying to update Booster Plus, but failing: When I click on its “check for updates” link, I get “This plugin is up to date.”

    Q1: How can I force an update of Booster Plus?

    Q2: If the answer to Q1 is “you must uninstall and re-install Booster Plus”, how can I preserve its settings?
