boom. out of box it worked.

  • ok actually it sorta didn’t. I enabled display shop page by specific category, entered my slug and . . . voila. All my categories were still showing. Perhaps a plugin conflict. Anyway i went into woo/settings and changed my theme’s shop page settings (canvas theme) to show by products only, then sub-category. This seemed to do the trick. Slight hack around that i just lucked up. Oh well, it’s working and that’s all I care about.

    btw don’t bother with Oik plugin. It had a fatal error after installation. It would not activate.
