    Hi, we recently encountered an issue when a booking is added to the cart. It briefly appears in the mini drop down showing the booking, but when you click view cart or check out it then says the cart is empty. We have another simpler site, hillcrestswimclub.com and did conflict testing. As soon as we enable or disable WooCommerce PayPal Payments the problem is resolved or comes back. What is going on?

    I’d like to add, that it “Seems” but for some reason, we aren’t positive, that when we disable the PayPal button from everywhere except the cart it appears to work. We had to disable pay later messaging everywhere as well. We’re not 100% positive, because despite clearing all cache and trying different machines and browsers, we still had a device show the empty cart error…regardless, its definitely happening 100% with buttons in multiple places. This only began about 2 days ago. We also went to the storefront theme and it still doesn’t work when enabled…so its not a theme issue.

    Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help. We are already aware of this issue and have a bug open for this. I have linked the bug to this thread, so you will be updated when the fix becomes available.

    It seems that the issue only occurs when the single product PayPal button is active, adding a booking product to the Cart from the single product page does not persist. It can be added to the Cart, but once the page is reloaded, the product is gone. This does not apply to logged-in users.

    So, it seems like removing the product page button, could serve as a temporary solution on this case.

    I see that this bug is already assigned, so I would expect a fix for the next release, but I cannot confirm this at this point. Hopefully I can give you more details soon.

    We currently have a package available that you can download via the GitHub issue here. If you choose to test this, and you run into any issue, please let us know here or on the GH issue. This fix will be added to the next release if we don’t hear any negative response on this test package (or if we don’t encounter any issues during our own test).

    I will mark this thread as resolved, but will be informed if you add any comment to it.
