    Hi there,

I have BookingPress and WooCommerce installed on my WordPress site.

Recently, customers who have been booking cooking classes via my site have been charged multiple (6+) times for 1 booking. For example, they choose a cooking class on the website (via the BookingPress plugin), and then proceed to payment where the checkout page loads via WooCommerce. When they click purchase, they are charged 6 times and this generates 6 booking IDs/ booking confirmations.

Has anyone else had this problem? I’ve reached out to BP but they said the issue is with WooPayments/WooCommerce.

I had to refund all the customers who were charged multiple times, which then lead to an email from Stripe/Woo saying that my Stripe balance for Woo Payments has fallen into negative, so they have debited my account. Has anyone experienced this too? How can I resolve the issue please?

    Many many help in advance

  • Hey there, @alexandracee2! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Let me ask some questions to help us investigate this:

    • Has this happened to all the orders from all classes or only some?
    • Do you have other products on your website that were not added via BookingPress? If you do, is the issue happening to them too?
    • If you don’t, can you please add a simple product via the default WooCommerce interface and run a test order to see if the issue also happens?
    • Just to confirm, the clients were charged several times and you got the payment for all those times, correct? (before refunding)
    • Were all purchases made via the same payment gateway or payment method?

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
