Booking simplicity

  • After trying several booking plug-ins, I find this to be the most simplistic and reliable.

    The key features for a booking system are covered: search rooms by availability, seasonal pricing, overview of availability by calendar.

    One minor issue: When setting no. of persons, the person icon obscures the selection made in the drop down field

    Considering upgrading to premium, but 1 question before I do: is there a way to book all rooms? i.e. in the case of a villa where you can book individual rooms or the whole property.

    There seems to be an issue with the compatibility to your theme. Could you post a link to your implementation?

    There is no way to book all rooms. Is this a valid use case?

    What would it take to get you to the 5 star rating?

    I can see the same issue on your demo, so I don’t think its specific to my theme. It’s on the ‘persons’ box on the booking form. I can’t see the number selected as the icon blocks it. I’m using IE11 btw…

    Yeah I think its a valid use case – to enable guests to book the whole property. This would block out all rooms for the specified days. This is a common offering for guesthouses.

    To get 5 stars the thing I’d like to see is: when showing availability search results, could we show thumbnail pictures of the rooms and some basic details? (e.g. ensuite, hot tub etc)

    BTW: you can already add a description text to a calendar which will be shown in the booking form.

    Great, I’ve added the details to the calendar. Thanks! Any plans to add support for a picture of the room as well? ??

    Also do you have any material on the checkout via paypal process for the pro version? would like to see the process in action…

    Yes, thumbnails are planned (but there are so many other things to do)…

    It should look fine now.

    I don’t have sandbox credentials, but I noticed you can go through most of the payment process already on the demo.

    For ‘Pay on invoice’ though – how does it work? do you generate and email an invoice to the guest after the booking is made?

    You can take a look on ‘pay on invoice’ in the free version. It’s just an option for the guest so the owner knows how the guest wants to pay. You can also add payment fees for each payment type.

    Ok cool.. is the idea that you’d install a separate invoicing plug-in to manage the payments?

    I can see that ‘Sliced’ seems to be a good option…
