booking for either half a day or a full day with discount

    Hello could you please help me with the following?

    On my booking calendar I have one studio which can either be rented for half a day (from 08:00 to 12:00 or from 13:00-17:00) at a price of ￡200. Or it can be rented for the whole day (from 08:00 – 17:00) at a price of ￡350.

    How can I configure the calendar to show this?
    At the moment I am showing 3 options on the calendar:
    08:00 – 12:00 at ￡200
    13:00 – 17:00 at ￡200
    08:00 – 17:00 at ￡350

    but I only have one studio so if someone comes along and books the one of the half day slots , I need the full day option to disappear or vice versa.

    Or is there somewhere I can put a discount if someone books for the whole day? I tried this and it doesn’t seem to be showing.

    Hi dear user.

    You can do it with our plugin.

    First go to our plugin Themes page from admin panel. Enable Hours, then click on “Add Hour” option and then you will see two hour blocks.

    Type this hour in first block 08:00 – 12:00, then type price 200, then type this “25% discount for whole day” in hour information field.

    Do the same for second block changing only hour and type 13:00 – 17:00.

    Then find this option “Discount depending on the hours” and then type “2” in first field and “25” in second field. Then save the theme.

    After that create calendar with this theme and save it.

    Thank you very much for the above fix which i have made. However I think something is wrong (maybe i have not understood correctly) but after i have done the above i have made a ‘dummy’ booking and the price still remains at the full price without discount shown (ie: shows 400 not 350 for full day). Please could you have a look for me? Happy New Year!!!!! x

    Hi, There are available dates in January – please find below how i set theme parameters: i don’t know how i can attach screen shot of themes page (please advise) but this is how i set parameters previously provided….

    Many Thanks for the above – it has resolved the issues I had (it was the update which was needed).

    Please can you now help me with another 2 queries on the same booking calendar?

    1)The set up is as I want it for the studio booking, however inside the studio there is an audio booth that can be booked INSTEAD of the studio (not as well as – if one is booked the other can not remain available on the site as they can’t both be used at the same time) could you please advise how I could therefore set this up on booking calendar?

    2)I have paypal as my option please advise as I can’t find any videos or other documentation how to set up my paypal for this site (at the moment it asks me which form to submit).

    Hi dear user.

    1) You can add new extra and in top of other two extras and type something like this – “Book only audio booth”.

    2) You need to go to Booking calendar Themes page > Payments tab, then Enable PayPal, set Payment mode to Live and type the PayPal email, that’s all. The form part is not necessary, because most of our users don’t use this part and it can unsettle users that book events. Do you have any issue with forms ?

    Hello, many thanks on the above. I have a problem with extras. There is a 20percent discount for clients who book 2 slots on my site (whole day as each slot is 08:00-12:00 or 13:00-17:00).

    The 20 percent discount works fine except, I don’t want it applied to my Extras. So one extra a client can choose is a piece of equipment at ￡100/day.

    How can i configure so discount applies only to booking price and not to extras?
    I assumed ‘regardless of item count’ on extras would sort this out. but it has not
