    Hi there,

I installed the extra Booking Manager plugin to import ICS files. First test I did with airbnb went fine; all booking were imported.

I then tried the ICS file for booking.com and although the plugin says: “there are 2 events in the ICS” and that they are imported, nothing is booked in the online calendar, leaving these dates open for others.

I made a page with a shortcut to show they are imported: https://www.joansbnb.nl/show/

But when you look at the calendar, both in the admin as well as the frontend (https://www.joansbnb.nl/reservation/) nothing is booked.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello.

    1) First of all try to update your Booking Calendar to latest update 8.1 and Booking Manager to latest update 2.0.2
    Updates just ready

    2) Please be sure that at the import page, you are using the import shortcode and not the listing events shortcode. In the previous update of Booking Manager was an issue with incorrect inserting import shortcode, if you was used popup toolbar for insrting shortcodes into the posts or pages. So please reinsert these shortcodes or check about it. More info about import shortcode you can find here: https://oplugins.com/plugins/wp-booking-manager/booking-manager-help/#events-import

    3) Please be sure that you have imported events from booking.com that have dates not in the past. Otherwise, if it was in the past, you can check these bookings at the Booking Listing page in Booking Calendar plugin by switching “Dates” parameter from “Current dates” to “All dates” or “Past dates” in your filter toollbar.

    4) Also please note, the Booking Calendar is import events only once. Its means that you have imported some events, and then edit these events in booking.com (or other website), and then try to import them again, such events will not be imported. You need to completely delete such events and only after that you can start this import again. Its because each such event have unique ID, and plugin does not import events with same ID 2 times.

    5) Recheck import/export instructions once again: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/#sync

    Kind Regards.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Booking Manager updated! Booking Calendar shows that 8.1 is available, but I can’t see how I can update.

    2) Please be sure that at the import page, you are using the import shortcode and not the listing events shortcode. It does not work with manual import either….

As you can see in the example URL, these events are for 2018.

    4) Also please note, the Booking Calendar is import events only once. Its means that you have imported some events, and then edit these events in booking.com (or other website), and then try to import them again, such events will not be imported. How do I delete them from the calendar, if they don’t show up in the calendar?

    5) Recheck import/export instructions once again: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/#sync

    Kind Regards.

    Hello.

    1) If you are using paid version of Booking Calendar, so then you can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

    2) Please note, at this page https://www.joansbnb.nl/show/ you are having listing of events from the specific .ics feed. But it does not mean that these events was imported into the Booking Calendar plugin.

For import these events into the Booking Calendar you need todo this manually from settings page, or by inserting this shortcode into the post or page: https://oplugins.com/plugins/wp-booking-manager/booking-manager-help/#events-import

    3) Relative checking about the bookings, please open the Booking Listing page, then click on “down arrow” at the bottom left corner under Filter toolbar for extend parameter list in filter toolbar.
Please recheck all parameters, like showing bookings for “All dates” instead of “Current dates”, showing bookings for “All booking resources” instead of specific booking resource, etc… Then click on “Apply” button to refresh the booking listing.

    4) Please recheck that you have not imported bookings for some “previously deleted” booking resource. You can check how todo this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/lost-bookings/

    Kind Regards.

For import these events into the Booking Calendar you need todo this manually from settings page, or by inserting this shortcode into the post or page:

I have tried both, but the events are not showing up in the calendar. Although the plugin says: “These events were imported previously” and “there were 2 events in the ICS file” (which is correct)

Please recheck all parameters, like showing bookings for “All dates” instead of “Current dates”, showing bookings for “All booking resources” instead of specific booking resource, etc… Then click on “Apply” button to refresh the booking listing.

No, they don’t show up. And even more important: they don’t show up in the front-end calendar.

Please recheck that you have not imported bookings for some “previously deleted” booking resource. You can check how todo this here:

No, they still don’t show up. And the resource is not previously deleted, it still exists.

I can send you the ICS file (the URL or the offline file) if that helps.
