Booking and maintaining travel trips

Hello,
I’m looking into writing a booking travel trips engine. Users will be able to register and view the trips offered and make an on-line trip purchase. The admin will enter/maintain the trips and the admin user will be able to view who has registered for the trips.
Is there any existing plugins I could leverage as I don’t really want to write everything from scratch?
