Book shipping of tickets –> “special ticket”

Dear Events Manager team,
first of all: thanks for this very efficient plugin!
I am using the free version (currently…) for our amateur choir and have run over the following use case:
We are selling tickets for our amateur choir concerts and for the next concert, I am offering one “ticket” for just 1 € in order to allow concert visitors to order (book) the shipment of their tickets by physical mail.
Everything works fine, except that I have to put a remark on each email notification that “for technical reasons” the shipping is counted as one real ticket (and thus virtually occupying one seat). This makes life for the booking administrator not easier…
So, I was wondering, whether you could consider to allow one “special ticket type”, which will be part of everything, except, it would not be counted in the “real” ticket occupation of an event and therefore would as well not need any pre-defined number of available uses.
I have already studied your hooks and filters in order to determine a way to interfere by programming but I doubt this would be a lasting solution.
