    I’m using the Recencio Book Review plug-in, and would like my book reviews to appear as posts on my Homepage. My homepage is set for “Your latest posts,” which is leading WP tech support to believe it impossible. Is there a way for my book reviews to appear on my homepage? How would I need to reconfigure my homepage to do what I’m asking?

    Hello,
    The reviews created should appear on your homepage if the “Reviews on homepage?” setting in enabled under the plugin’s settings page.

    Also, it is possible for themes to ignore this setting, so which theme do are you using?

    Yep, I have the “Reviews on homepage” setting checked. I’m using Canard as a theme.

    This is one of those themes that I mentioned earlier, it is specifically checking for the default WordPress “posts” but this plugin creates and uses “reviews”.

    Can you upload and use your own child-theme on wordpress.com?

    I checked on my demo site and the theme does appear to work with “reviews”. You can see it here: https://recencio.com/

    I’ve never created a child-theme, but I’m willing to try. I’m a newbie, so it’ll take me a while. Thanks for the suggestion!
