    I have a site that i need to keep a very close eye on so I WANT an email alert with every login, upload and edit…

    In the past I had the opposite problem trying to turn all those notifications off but this is a short term special case. I have not been able to dig and rummage and find where to turn ON alerts for all actions. It sounds weird to me to say it but I need an email alert with every login, upload and edit at a particular site.

    I cannot reveal the actual sit but here is one with the current installed version of WordPress – the site is up to date with the latest versions of WordPress and Wordfence and essentially the same plugins…

    SO if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it!

    Any help would be appreciated! Even snarky help!

    Hi @webbadass, thanks for your message.

    Hah, you certainly won’t get any snarky help for wanting to be aware of everything going on in your site, although I also appreciate reasons why certain alerts aren’t of interest to all users in every situation.

    The best-case scenario I can offer you is the following:

    • In Wordfence > All Options > Email Alert Preferences, check all options, but not the new device sub-options as that’ll reduce the amount of emails you receive.
    • Then change Wordfence > All Options > Activity Report >
      Enable email summary       to “Once a Day”
    • Finally, make sure your uploads folder doesn’t appear in the “List of directories to exclude from recently modified file list”

    This should ensure you see all user/admin sign-ins as they happen and are aware of all newly uploaded or updated files once daily. You’ll receive more information than this but I’m highlighting the ones you specifically asked for. Feel free to tweak to your taste over time.
