Hi Jamel. I am having a problem with keywords that are bolded or quoted when used.

I created the glossary term moon. Then I created a test page that used that term (moon) in three formats. One without any formatting, another with the keyword in bold, and another with the keyword in quotes. I find that the keyword in bold and quotes are not detected as keywords. But the keyword without any formatting works as expected.

Is there any setting or trick to get the bold and quoted keyword to be detected as glossary terms?

Thank you.
P.S. I tested this with the latest standard WordPress theme and disable all plugins but it didn’t help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @axwellion

I tested bold keywords and it works fine for me

Please verify on Tooltipy settings on “Advanced/Exclude Common Tags ?” and see if “strong” or “b” is checked, if yes uncheck them and let me know if that helps

For the quoted keyword it’s not working for me as well (it’s not allowed yet)

Thanks

Yes, unchecking and fixes the issue. Thank you!
It also fixes the issue that spaces before and after a bolded word were not appearing on the page. Now that is working as expected also. This is great!
