    Hello !

In order to offer the possibility to my customers to have a BOGO deal on some of my products I’ve tried creating a Coupon Code

Since I don’t have the premium version, I’ve implemented all of the products in both of the fields but when trying to apply the coupon code on the cart, yes it does apply but as a 0.00 € discount, when it should normally apply the BOGO deal and tell the customers to go choose another product…

In the second category (“Customer gets”) I’ve chosen for every single products the “(override) 0” option in the “Price/Discount”

So I’m not so sure where the issue is coming from…

Hopefully you can help me as it is a really necessary feature !

I’m looking forward to your answer !

On that note, I wish you a nice day

    Hi @toad1010,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

The BOGO will only apply if the customer has the required “Customer Buys” products.

A notice will show to customers when they have all of the required “Customer Buys” products but the “Customer Gets” products are not present in the cart as seen here https://snipboard.io/Rj1U3s.jpg

You can set it up from the “Additional Settings” section like this https://snipboard.io/T5hRgU.jpg

If the customer doesn’t have the required “Customer Buys” products, they’re not eligible for the BOGO yet hence the coupon discount is shown as $0.00.

On another note, if you choose multiple products for the “Customer Buys” products, it means that customers must add all of those products to be eligible for the discount on the “Customer Gets” products.

Regarding this issue though, we currently have an outstanding dev ticket for a similar case: “Show a notice on the cart if the customer is close to being able to redeem a coupon”. We don’t have an ETA on this but I have +1 the ticket to boost the priority some more.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,

    Hello @supportfitri

    Thanks for your answer !

Indeed, the way I’ve done it is that I’ve put a certain number of products in the “Customer Buys” section because I thought that each input would be considered as a “OR” (I mean as in opposition with “AND”) I then understand why the coupon wasn’t working…

But then how to do as I’ve put a certain number of products in that category, to make it work as an “OR” ?…

Indeed each of my products, for example a hoodie, are available in different colors and different sizes in my store ie the combination : item + size + color in itself is a product, so it wouldn’t make sense to me to make a hundred of coupons for every single case…

So what would be the best option for me then ?…

I wish you a nice day,

    Kind regards

    Hi @toad1010,

Thank you for getting back to me.

In the Advanced Coupons free plugin, you only have the “Specific Products” option which requires the customer to add all products that you selected for the “Customer Buys”.

However, you can choose a specific product category or a combination of multiple products for the “Customer Buys” or the “Customer Gets” in the Advanced Coupons premium plugin.

Please send us a message through our contact form if you’d like to learn more about our premium features as we are not allowed to answer them in this forum.

    Cheers,
