Body tag classes

I don’t know if you can help, but my client is using a customized older theme. The migration looks horrible…. no CSS styles. I’m not seeing the jigoshop tags on the body tag. Should they still be there?? Any ideas of where I could poke around to make sure they are working?
The site is using the body_class() method on the body tag.
