• Hi guys

I am trying to get a WP Bodymovin shortcode to appear as the preloader.

When I add the shortcode to the custom content section it does not display. The Animation works fine when embedded on a page, i just cant get it to appear as a preloader?

Any ideas? Happy to share links but would rather now publicly due to Dev reasons.

    Thanks

  • Yes same issue here, WP Bodymovin shortcode doesn’t seem to work.

I’ve actually found a way around it because I’ve built the site using Elementor and it has integrated Lottie animation support.

Not sure how you’re building, but if you happen to be using Elementor let me know and I can share instructions.

    Thanks

Ok cool. As you’re using WP Bodymovin, im guessing you’ve got the JSON file ready to upload? If so, this shows you how to do it:

Let me knw if you need any more help but thats how I did it

Awesome, thanks for making the tutorial, works well.

Not sure if you have experienced this but the animation is sticking to the left of the viewport. I can only see 1/2 the animation. Also, the sticky header section in elementor seems to be appearing only after animation finishes.

Strange, works perfectly for me, dead center of viewport.

Its a preloader, I dont want the header to show before the preloader finishes.

    Have you got a link?
