Board Page Pagination Not working

The pagination on the Board page is not working. There is a next link in the bottom right but it leads to a page that could not be found. Example the page /testboard/ will show 5 results and the next button but when the next button is clicked, the page goes to /testboard/page/2 and that gives a page not found.

If anyone else has the same question. The solution was to set the Number of topics per page number in Discussion Board > Settings to the same number as the Blog pges to show at most setting in Settings > Reading
