• hello,

I am running bitnami wordpress with nginx in virtual box and I’m facing the following issue.

The program bnconfig does not exist.

I have discussed the issue at bitnami forums and the told me to refer to wordpress support since they cannot do something on their side.

Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this issue?

    Maybe install the bnconfig manually?

    Thanks in advance

Bitnami is not part of wordpress; it’s installed by hosts. So I guess the best thing to do is to contact your host as they’re responsible for bitnami as you use it.

Hi thank you for your response.

I am locally hosting the site.

Then this is a bitnami issue. I’d look to their documentation on what goes in that file, how it’s created, and how it’s used.

Additional (hit submit too soon), if you’re just doing this as a local test site, look into using “Local” to host it rather than bitnami.

I have spoken with the bitnami support and they told me that it’s a wordpress issue.

They told me that I should refer to wordpress forums for this.

Bitnami is not a WordPress product; WordPress does not include the bnconfig utility. I googled “bnconfig missing” and found a lot of suggestions. If Bitnami support is telling you it’s not a Bitnami issue, they are wrong.
