Blurry thumbnails

I am trying to fix images in a shop with terrible images – I have created a 600×800 photoshop template that I use to create each image.

The thumbnail images – or at least some of them – seem to become quite blurry though. For example product number 8 on the category page (ANTOLINI THEOBROMA 2019)

In Woocommerce image settings in the customizer are:

600 image width
300 thumbnail width

And it’set to uncropped.

I can’t see where my settings are wrong. I know Woocommerce automatically adjusts sizes – so is there no way around this except to use a plugin?
