• Hi,

When I use the search function on our company intranet, any images attached to pages will appear in the search as extremely large and blurry. The images are fine in the individual pages.

Is there a way to resize/remove the images that appear in the search?

    Thank you

  • Hello,

I would be happy to try and help with this. Is this search function on your intranet site a specific plugin in use? Have you looked to see if this is a result of a specific browser, or does the same result occur in any browser?

    Thanks,
    Brett

    Thanks for your help Brett.

I can see we have ‘ACF: Better Search’ installed as a plugin which adds the ability to search ‘from selected fields of Advanced Custom Fields plugin’.

The images seem to come from events pages, and we have ‘The Events Calendar’ plugin, so perhaps that’s the culprit?

Other than that it’s a normal search. Same on different browsers.

Hi, any updates on this? Please can you let me know how to help with the Events Calendar images, as it seems this is the likely candidate?

Hi, From what I can see, this may be an update that is needed with the dev with your site.

Any images uploaded with wordpress create various sizes (thumbnail, medium, large, and full-sizes). Your dev might need to code in which specific size to display on your company’s search results display.
