• Hi

I’m very new to this so please excuse me if I have left out vital information or am using the wrong terminology.

I have a website which is running the Canvas theme.

I have selected a few products to be displayed on the homepage of the website under the ‘Featured Products’ section. For some reason the images are slightly blurry. When you click on them and it takes you to the product page the image is fine it is only blurry when it is on the homepage.

I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to point me in the direction of what I might be doing wrong.

    Many thanks

  • Can you post a link to your website?

    Hi

    Its: https://www.liight.co.uk

It’s not completed I’m just experimenting at the minute.

    Many thanks

Your images are smaller than you are displaying them on the homepage. When you increase the size of a small image you loose some of the resolution.

The images are 150×150. You are displaying them at 256×256.

    Hi Stacy

    Thanks for your message.

When I upload the images I upload images that are 300×300.

I just looked in the woo commerce settings for the site and it says

    “catalogue images: 150×150”
    “single product image: 300×300”
    “product thumbnails: 90×90”

Does the featured product image take the catalogue image and increase the size?

Is there a way I can change the settings so that the photos will look clear for the individual product and for the featured product on the homepage.

    Many thanks

When you set up the Featured Products section of the Homepage was there a place to put what size photo you wanted to display with each product or does it display the featured image from the product page?

Have you contacted Woo Themes? They have great support for their themes.

    Stacy
