Blur image error & foreground colour header menu not working

    Hej all,

    I am working on a page for a coffee shop and up until last week everything was working well, and since a week now I have two errors. First of all, I can’t change the foreground colour of the header menu, the background colour works but I can’t change the colour of the font anymore. Any ideas how I can solve this?
    Secondly, between the header menu and the gallery on the homepage there appeared a blur image stripe which I have no idea where it comes from neither do I know how to erase it. However, it seems to be an issue of the header as well, as I can’t see it while I edit the page but in the design editor it changes with the header background (never gone, just changing size).

    I appreciate any suggestions, as I just need to solve this and would like to avoid starting from the beginning with a new theme!

  • Hello Sonja,

    I understand you have two issues, the foreground and background color settings don’t change anymore and there is an image stripe between your Menu and the gallery.

    I took a look at your example URL and I can’t see a blurred image stripe on the page, I’m assuming that was something you were able to correct.

    For the foreground and background, in Customize > Site Design, the Header Colors have their own section and they seem to be working for me. This seems similar to something we fixed in the recent release. Could you make sure the theme is up to date and try to change the colors again?

    Hej Daniel,

    Thanks for taking the time and having a look.

    I kinda solved it by simply redoing the whole home page again. So that solved the issue I had with the foreground and background colour in the header menu, but it might as well just happen again.

    The other issue with the blurred image stripe I was able to solve by simply not uploading a thumbnail to the page. For some reason to add a different thumbnail it created this blurred image stripe. So i basically can’t use that, since it doesn’t work.

    Of course, I am happy that I “solved” the issues for the current website, but it is likely that they happen again.
