Bluehost Problems and URL

    Hi,

    I have a couple of challenges:
    – I have done all the required process to transfer my domain (smartjedi.com) from WordPress.com to Bluehost. Even after like 3 calls and 1 email to verify my account, I still cannot move forward in the process of transferring my domain to my account, so still cannot have my website up and running.

    – My temporary URL was https://69.89.31.127/~smartjed/ but I have changed the settings in the WordPress installer (General) and now cannot access anymore the WordPress script. Any suggestions? The warning notice is “We cannot access your FTP server any longer.

    That’s about it. Free to give more info.

  • How long ago did you re-point your domain name to your Bluehost site?

    Today should reach 3 days, so it’s around the normal time. I am more concerned actually with the second question, since I cannot access the WordPress script due to the changes.

    Most probably have to delete and import again, so just want to make sure there are other solutions before doing so.

    When trying to fix the following missing requirements show up: “MySQL database version 5.0.”

    Hi,

    – I downloaded BlueHost and pay for them to be my hosting company
    – I installed WP on BlueHost, they send me an email with admin username and pass, and worked fine.
    – I have updated the nameservers about 10 days ago
    – I have updated the URL

    Still I can’t see my website, can’t login in the wordpress dashboard. My URL is https://smartjedi.com and home def is also the same URL.

    What am I doing wrong here? Why can’t I access WordPress plugin?

    Hi,

    Still don’t get it. Follow the whole instructions and there is something wrong since I can’t see my website.

    Anyone that could support me?

    Hey,
    I’m having a lot of difficulties installing WordPress into Bluehost as well and it’s super frustrating!!!!! How do you update nameservers or the URL? People keep saying go to the dashboard and then go to Settings -> General and you can do it there, but the only thing that is there is the ability to change the sit title, tagline, e-mail address, and time zone. I don’t see anything about changing home or site URL or anything else like that. Someone please help me before I give up!!!

    And how do I point my main domain to my host?
