BlueHost One Click Install

  • I have been using BlueHost for some time. I have a VPS server and multiple websites I created using WP exclusively.

    I have couple more website I would like to put up but the last 3 weeks the One Click install has been down. Yes I know I can use the FTP option but why?

    BlueHost has added the MoJo Themes to glean more income from subscribers, nothing wrong with it but I use approved or self created themes only.     I have been adding Genesis underneath as a parent theme.

    I was told this was an API problem but I am very “Skeptical” that is the real issue.     Anyone else having issues?

  • Not sure if you have a WordPress question? If it’s a Bluehost issue, they’ll be the ones to talk to.

    I was interested to know if others are having issues with bluehost and VPS server hosting.

    If we are going to rate them as #1for WordPress users they should have the service and responsibility that is created by such high praise and rating.

    Thanks WPyogi, I brought this issue to BlueHost directly 3 weeks ago after waiting a week to do so.

    Do you have any suggestions other than BlueHost or HostGator? I have been reviewing my options.

    I understand your concern, however, forum rules don’t allow discussions of hosting – nothing personal, it just gets spammy really fast. You’ll no doubt find pro/con opinions for any and all hosts. We generally suggest that people do their own research to find a host that meets their own needs.
