Bluehost and Cloudflare DNS issue (Error 1001)
-
My WordPress website https://www.novelbenedictions.com is hosted Bluehost. I have the free version of CLoudflare running with it.
Occasionally, including today (right now), I get a DNS error. It reads:
Error 1001 Ray ID: fa78a2c5df60a3c
DNS resolution error
What happened?
You’ve requested a page on a website (www.novelbenedictions.com) that is on the CloudFlare network. CloudFlare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (www.novelbenedictions.com). There are two potential causes of this:
Most likely: if the owner just signed up for CloudFlare it can take a few minutes for the website’s information to be distributed to our global network.
Less likely: something is wrong with this site’s configuration. Usually this happens when accounts have been signed up with a partner organization (e.g., a hosting provider) and the provider’s DNS fails.I know minimal coding and don’t really understand what all that means. I’ve looked at the Cloudlfare help section, but I don’t understand what it’s saying either. The problem usually resolves itself in a few minutes or hours, but I’m getting quite annoyed by it… any suggestions?
I do not have the most recent version of WordPress, but I can’t access my control panel at the moment to tell you what it is. 3.7.1 maybe?
Thank you in advance for your help.
