Blooger import issue

    I’m utterly new to WordPress.

    I imported the content of my blogger account last week using the Blogger Importer plug-in. Things went well.

    For whatever reason I decided to redo an import (of the same material from the same blog) a few days ago. I deleted all my WordPress posts, i.e. my imported Blogger posts; I had not added any. And went about using Blogger Importer (as I had done the first time around) to re-import the content of my old blog.
    It didn’t work.
    After a couple of failed attempts, I uninstalled Blogger Importer and re-installed it. I pressed on the “Clear Account Information” button, and attempted a new import. It didn’t work either. In fact, after three more attempts and two days left in between attempts, it still isn’t working.

    I get the following “error” message: “Nothing was imported. Had you already imported this blog?”

    Any ideas as to what might be going on?

    Well, I fixed my own problem! What a genius.

    I realized I had not emptied my Trash which was conflicting with the new import. Trash gone, the re-import worked like a charm.

    Moral of the story? Clean out your trash.

    Gonna get trashed now.
