Bloody site title separator '|'

  • Hello everybody. I’ve four websites running on WordPress and use following themes:

    1. Twenty Twelve x 2,
    2. Twenty Eleven,
    3. Spacious.

    In all of them there’s an idiotic site title separator | between site title and page title. How can I change for smth more adequate for example ‘»’.

    Why in wp_title documentation ‘»’ is default?
