Blogs Posts, dropped from Google, How do I fix this?

For numerous months, My WordPress address (URL) & Blog address (URL) has been the same…
WordPress address (URL): https://www.example.com/news/
Blog address (URL): https://www.example.com/news/index.php

I recented changed the blog address to the domain
Blog address (URL): https://www.example.com/index.php

Previously my post urls where
https://www.example.com/news/2009/09/08/title-of-post
now it is being redirected to
https://www.example.com/2009/09/08/title-of-post

All my posts have now been dropped from google, and the posts after the changes are not making it to google.

Will this continue? do I need to make any change to resolve this? I could google my titles within an hour of posting, now, nothing at all. And the older entries are being dropped from the search engine.
