    Have you changed your permalinks settings to a custom format?

    On my site, in the default format, the link is:
    https://stablesystemsnow.com/?cat=1

    I need more information on what / how that url state came to be, unless I am lacking some understanding – which has happened on occasion ??

    My permalink settings are set to day and name. I didn’t use a custom structure.

    What ver WP is this? Windows / Linux? Disabled all plugins then tested?
