  • Hi Alex

    Here’s my site name https://photographyforaliving.com/

    l’ve never built a website before and have no understanding of what anything is in my site even though l watched 10 video’s from a guy in the states in building a website in wordpress.
    I chose Blogrow as this was my favourite theme, and l don’t know where to go.

    In this header there are 3 images, and l don’t know where to go to put the images there if l want them

    Or how to hide them to do a roll without them.
    I wanted to try both ways to see what happened, but can’t do either.
    I managed when l joined Wealthy affiliate so enclosed what that looked like in the topics tag
    Any chance you could make a video on how to build it, where to go etc.

    Hi there!

    Hm, there is a lot to explain if you are totally new to WP. I would google around for guides etc to learn more about how WordPress works.

    But to give you a start, you need to create posts for them to appear in the header as on the demo site.

    Dashboard > Posts > Add New

    Add new posts here, and see on the right side where it says “Featured Image”. Set the image you want to show with the post there.

    Go to Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays > Your latest posts, if you want to look like the demo does on this page: https://demo.alx.media/blogrow/blog/

    Feel free to ask me more questions and I’ll see if I can answer.

    To make it look like this on the home page: https://demo.alx.media/blogrow/blog/ you need to set the blog as first page and not use a static one. Currently the demo has a static frontpage (https://demo.alx.media/blogrow/) and a blogpage (https://demo.alx.media/blogrow/blog/).

    I AM ALSO HAVING THE SAME VERY FRUSTRATING PROBLEM – THERE IS NO CLEAR WAY OR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO GET THE IMAGES ON THE FRONT PAGE- any1cansing.com

    I need major help major HELP-

    No Worries, I went and created a page, to see the correct options in >Settings>your latest posts >

    I believe this will resolve the issue as described above.
