• Hello,

My Blog URL is https://blog.newhorizons123.com and I am using wordpress 3.0 suffusion 3.5.7. My links widget for my blogroll does not work. I have tried putting it on the right side-bar and sidebar above footer – neither one works. I have removed and added back all my widgets and plug-ins and still it doesn’t work. For the interim, I have included my blogroll in the main navigation because I need the reciprocal links for my site, however, I don’t like the look of the long drop-down menu because it interferes with the design of the site.

Does anyone know why my links widget might not be working or can you perhaps suggest another work-around other than including it is the navigation?

    Thank you in advance,
    Julie

  • When you say “neither one works” what exactly do you mean? Can you add the widgets back?

I mean that removing each widget individually and then putting them back in one by one and then uninstalling each plugin individually and reinstalling – those two steps did not result in a working blogroll widget. Yes I can and did add all the widgets back.

I find that if I’m working in IE7 or IE8 I need to just close out of it all and use Firefox. I works about 80% of the time. When I go back to IE it is all there and working. It’s crazy but it does help.

I had the same problem. I am using Firefox and can’t add links for my blogroll but when I started IE and added it there it worked. Then when I went back to Firefox it worked like a treat! Very weird bug I’d say! ??
