blogroll displaying in random order, unwanted

For some reason the blogroll is showing up in random order, changing each time the page is loaded. We have tried to put it in alpha order several times from the Manage Links panel, and it displays *there* in alpha order.

The get links tag in sidebar.php is : <?php get_links_list(); ?>

I’d be very grateful for some advice – thanks in advance.
