Blogging via Email

  • I have about 30 minutes’ experience with WordPress, which is installed and properly working on my server, and my first question is, how does Blogging by Email work? I have tried sending an email with Blog: in the subject line and ___ as the terminator, but I must be using the wrong email address. The installation appears to have used the default email address, which is set to :fail: because spammers. How do I change the email address that WordPress uses for email posts? This looks like it is going to be fun, if I can get past the lack of documentation!

  • The =20 for line breaks, =92 for apostrophes, and =A0 for something else, is a problem.

    My goal was to be able to blog via email from my Blackberry. And to the, “Why would you want to do that?” question… My wife delivered our 2nd child 3 weeks ago, and using my blackberry/blog combo, I was able to give regular status reports to friends and family without leaving my wife’s side.
