Blogging on WordPress-hosted site vs Stand-alone

When I had my blog on a WordPress hosted site, I would quickly get comments and communications from other WordPress bloggers. I still use WordPress but I moved my blog to a different site hosting service. Feel free to have a look:

Anyway, since moving my blog, WordPress blogger no longer drop in to comment. Am I doing something wrong? Am I no longer part of the WordPress community? I’d be grateful for advice on how to reconnect with WordPress bloggers.
