• Hello Administrator, I hope I am doing the right thing here by starting a new topic. I have been writing about my travels in WordPad before copying and pasting it on my site as a new post. In the last two posts, I’m encountering a problem with spacing. The space between my paragraphs disappeared when I published the post making the sentences cramped and busy. I’ve tried pressing Enter 2 or 3 times to create more space in between paragraphs but they are not sticking. The post still looks like one long paragraph. Could you help me with this please?

My latest post on Hayman Island is still in draft as I didn’t want to publish it looking like that. My site is:

    Thanks very much,

  • If you wan’t to keep most of the formatting that you have done by doing drafts on Word or Wordpad, make sure to use the “Paste from Word” button.

Paragraph spacing on websites are not like with Word or with any other Text editors that you’ll just have to hit enter to add one. It’s controlled with the CSS file or how the theme was designed. You’ll be able to change it if you learn XHTML/CSS.

Thank you junixblog. Yes, I have been able to get my spacing back after using the Paste from Word button. However that seemed to have messed up the ability to use the page break button in Visual so now my post in posted in its entirety on the Home Page instead of a few paragraphs.

What should I do now? As you can see, I have been able to use the page break button on all my other posts in Home Page.

    Thanks very much again.
