Blogger to Wp

  • I’ve done a search and read through many posts but still don’t quite understand how to import my files from blogger to WP. How exactly do i rrun the script? Where and what is my b2? I read the only read-me file i could find. Any help is appreciated.

    when you finally have the files on your ftp server all you have to do is click “OK” at the end of the importer script.

    I just need to know if i did something wrong that made all the post and archives go crazy?!?!?

    Ok, this is what I get. I followed the directions exactly, so I don’t know where it went wrong. Could someone look at this page and tell me what happened please, and how to correct it?

    I have about 1700 posts archived in (new) blogger.com, tried the procedure yesterday and it didn’t work. The scripts says everything’s ok, but I don’t see my posts on WP. I’ll try it again today, but I already think that the import script may have to be adapted.

    Succesful import from blogger just following instructions in the wp import utility.
    Once u make the changes in blogger, all the files(archives) and archive index (wordpress.php) will be in ur new wp folder (if u dont see them u make a mistake, check again the settings in blogger and republish ur blog), once u got them, going 3rd starge will cleany import ur post into wp

    All of the files were in the wp folder as they were supposed to be. But they still did not show up on the “edit” page, as I assumed they would. If the import worked, how do I know? And if it didn’t work, I want to know the exact steps: WHICH template do I put the code in, and do I only replace the blogger code or the entire template code (including html)?

    Sorrry guys, have the same problem. archive files renamed and republished, all looks fine. get “import ok” message and some skips of dublicate message with 0000 timestamt. would expect my posts to show up then, but they don’t. did anyone find out sth.?
