Some themes automatically strip out certain html tags in posts and pages…what theme did you test with?

Code disappearing means it is not auto parsed. And widget is appearing in place of code. I am using this theme – WPBANDIT -TYPEGRID. It is a premium theme. All goes fine when I migrate thru cms2cms.

That shows the problem is theme-specific. But we do not support premium themes here.

Let me clear you this is not theme specific.

Can you point us to a trac url where the dev at your linked to site has received confirmation of this?

Please post the export file’s post section for this post only to pastebin…and then try to import your posts with default theme…always import posts with default unedited theme and no plugins…whether understood or not, a theme or plugin could cause an issue with the import.

Finally I assure you guys it is bug. It should be fixed soon. I have tried with default unedited theme and new db. Please inform developer!

If it is a bug, then it must be on the blogger side…I know I have imported into WP posts with ‘code’ in them and it worked just fine. This is why I suggested to post the export file section for us to review.
