• I ran the import for Blogger and it showed that every post and every comment came over. However, most of the comments were not assigned to their post. I cannot see them in the WordPress dashboard, but if I login to phpmyadmin I can find them. They are all assigned to post id “0”

Is there a way to make these comments go to their posts? I have tried to re-import but then I end up with duplicate posts.

Any ideas what I should do?

    Thanks!

  • Try the Move Comments plugin. It’ll be tedious, but it’ll get them where they belong… You’d have to move them individually. At least, I *think* that might work….

Actually I JUST had this issue last night & found a solution taht really works — you’ll need to delete all the posts & comments, then export your Blogger blog, then use the Blogger xml to WordPress wxr converter I found here. It outputs the file as wordpress-wxr.html, just change the file extension from .html to .wxr and upload to WordPress – works like a charm!
